“I have spent most of my life struggling with seeing myself clearly and valuing myself. As a result, I have been in situations where I shouldn’t have been, with people who don’t value me and don’t understand me, thinking that I belong there. But one beautiful day, I saw myself as the radiant and beautiful soul I am, as strange as it sounds.

I think nowadays people often don’t see themselves clearly. We chase after other people’s dreams and approval, race against time, obligations, expectations. We are our own biggest critics, and we’re quick to put ourselves down. We bury dreams and desires because we think we’re not worthy of them. “Who am I to think I could do something like that?” is often the story we tell ourselves when faced with the unknown. Let’s remind ourselves how beautiful, radiant, and magical beings we are. Within us is a whole world, and every person is unique, beautiful, and important to the whole. Don’t forget that! Shine and don’t apologize for shining brightly!
