“This is another earlier work of mine. There’s also a funny story behind this piece. It’s painted on a piece of cardboard, and the only acrylic paints I had weren’t very good. I started painting the face of a woman (which is a recurring theme in my works), and I wasn’t happy with it at all. So, I decided to paint over the entire picture with white and start over. However, since the paint wasn’t very good, the white showed through. I was very disappointed, but the more I looked at the painting, the more I liked the blurry face shining through the white. And suddenly it became clear to me that it was meant to be that way. The concept of this picture emerged from a saying that haunted me at the time. That we have 2 eyes to look, and 1 eye to see.

I came to understand the concept of the third eye and intuition. This knowledge stirred conflicting emotions within me. On one hand, I was so happy; I learned to recognize my inner wisdom and guidance. But on the other hand, I also saw a lot of darkness in the world that I could no longer ignore. Hence the tears in my paintings.

The concept of the “third eye” is often associated with various spiritual and metaphysical beliefs, especially in Hinduism, Buddhism, and some modern philosophies. It is not a physical eye but rather a symbolic and metaphorical representation of inner, spiritual, or intuitive perception. The theme of the third eye is also prevalent in my works.

In many beliefs, the third eye is considered the center of perception, consciousness, and higher awareness. It is often depicted as an invisible or inner “eye” located in the middle of the forehead between the two physical eyes. This symbolic eye is considered the ability to see and understand the world on a deeper spiritual level.”
